Hey everyone,

I'm curious—what are some of the best bookstore names you've seen or heard? Whether they were clever, cozy, or just had a great ring to them, I'd love to know what made them stand out to you.

I'm in the process of naming my bookstore and looking for inspiration. Should a name be whimsical, literary, or something more straightforward? Any personal favorites or creative ideas?

Excited to hear your thoughts!

One of the best bookstore names I’ve come across is The Last Bookstore in Los Angeles. It has this almost mythical quality, like it’s the final stop for all book lovers. Shakespeare and Company in Paris is another favorite—there’s something timeless and romantic about it, and it immediately connects to literary history. If you're looking for more inspiration, you might want to go to site that lists famous bookstores around the world. I also love when bookstores get creative with wordplay, like The Ripped Bodice for a romance-focused store or Books & Brews for a shop that doubles as a café. Are you leaning toward something classic and literary or something more playful and unique?
