How do you deal with glasses?

So my vision has been getting worse over time.

I've had glasses for a few years now but I never wore them as I could easily see anything not far away.

My vision got worse so I got new glasses but still didn't wear them.

During the lockdown, I've been working at home. Facing a wall. So nothing far away.

I had to go back to work, and there I didn't face the wall.

Seeing the distance above the screen after a few hours made me want to throw up.

After blocking it out I felt fine.

I've been trying to wear my work glasses since but I hate them so much.

I can see my frames at the edge of my vision.

They feel weird on my face.

How do you not hate having these things on your face?

Constantly sliding off.

Feeling heavy.

Seeing rims. (I wear big frames so I doubt I can get bigger to sort this)

(Not even mentioning the eye pain and headaches as these go away after a while. But I want to take these things off for that alone. I hate them so so much)

Edit: I also hate how glasses change distance.

What used to seem far away now seems a lot closer so I don't know what's what anymore.

If I look at something and move my glasses on and off my face, the size and distance it is from me change.

It's a lot to get used to.

Managing glasses concerns cleaning, proper storage, and adjusting to wearing them comfortably for more precise vision.
