Adding your own music to your CapCut videos is a great way to personalize them and add a unique touch. Here's how to do it:

1. Start a new project:

Open the CapCut app on your phone or tablet and tap on the "+" icon to start a new project.

2. Import your video:

Tap "Import" and select the video you want to add music to. You can also add photos or other video clips at this stage if you want.

3. Access the Audio tab:

Tap on the "Audio" icon at the bottom of the screen. This will display several options for adding audio to your video.

4. Upload your music:

Tap on the "Sounds" tab and then tap on the "+" button. Select "Import from device" and navigate to the music file you want to add. You can also choose music from CapCut's built-in library if you prefer.

5. Trim the music:

Once you've selected your music, you can trim it to fit the length of your video. Tap on the music clip in the timeline and drag the edges to set the start and end points.

6. Adjust the volume:

Tap on the music clip again and use the slider to adjust the volume. You can also tap on the "More" icon and choose "Volume automation" to create fade-in and fade-out effects.

7. Preview and export your video:

Once you're happy with the music, tap on the "Play" button to preview your video. When you're ready to share your creation, tap on the "Export" button and choose the desired resolution and frame rate.
