About Me
My name is Benjamin Dziedzorm Gawornu. I have strong background in Coastal Resource Management and currently studying MPhil. Oceanography and Limnology at the Africa Center of Excellence in Coastal Resilience, University of Cape Coast. I am interested in improving large scale, commercial culture of marine microalgae and expect to contribute to Marine Biotechnology aspect of Blue Economy in Africa. With strong passion for Aquatic Resource Management, I co-manage an NGO that advocates for sustainable use of ocean resources (www.cleankoast.org). I look forward to an exciting and interactive learning experience at the upcoming workshop on tropical seaweed cultivation.
