Minneapolis Will Benson Jersey, March 2025 – One of the biggest questions heading into the 2025 MLB season for the Minnesota Twins revolves around the health and performance of Byron Buxton. The talented but oft-injured center fielder has struggled to stay on the field in recent years, and his ability to play a full season could be the difference between a playoff push and another frustrating year Wil Myers Jersey. Buxton, who played in only 85 games in 2024, is coming off another injury-shortened season where he posted a .260 batting average with 22 home runs and 60 RBIs. While his numbers were solid, the Twins need him for at least 130 games to maximize their potential. "I feel great, and I’ve put in a lot of work this offseason to stay healthy," Buxton said during Spring Training. "I know what I’m capable of when I’m out there every day, and that’s my goal." Manager Rocco Baldelli emphasized that the team will monitor his workload carefully, possibly using him as a designated hitter (DH) at times to keep him fresh. With Buxton patrolling center field, the Twins’ defense is vastly improved, and his elite speed adds another dimension to their lineup. If Buxton can stay on the field, Minnesota has a real shot at contending in the AL Central.
