Dear Dr Flower,
Thanks for giving an excellent over view on the production of Eucheumatoids in different South African Countries. What are the prospects of developing seaweed industry for native species in those countries?

Dear Dr Flower,
Thanks for giving a very excellent presentation regarding the production of Eucheumatoids in different African Countries. Could you give some suggestions regarding to the aspects that need to be cooperated between two regions :countries from Africa and Asia, especially with the Southeast Asian countries considering that these two regions have various differences in climate, spatial planning and differences in policies from each government from the two regions.
Hi, Dr. Flower,
You mentioned in your presentation that the commercial species actually grew in the regions you have talked about but that all cultivated ones were imported from the Philippines. Were there no attempts at all to use these native cultivars for commercial farming, particularly when problems with production (such as ice-ice and epiphytes) began? If there were, what were the results?
Thanks.
