Dr. Cicilia S.B. Kambey is a researcher in Institute of Ocean and Earth Sciences (IOES) University of Malaya, Malaysia. She graduated with a PhD from the Pusan National University, Republic of Korea in Biology & Oceanography. Her main research includes seaweed ecophysiology, environmental science and modelling, and Integrated Multi-Trophic Aquaculture (IMTA). Three years since joining an international research program by the Global SeaweedSTAR and funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI), she is currently focused on research in biosecurity and policy for seaweed aquaculture industry, in particular the eucheumatoids. She has published several peer-reviewed papers in seaweed ecophysiology and biosecurity.
